JCO MEDIA'S FLATLINE FILM GETS A MAJOR UPDATE

25 January 2026

Following the success of FEAR back in 2020, it was announced in 2025 that JCO Media will be producing and releasing a new mental health short film titled Flatline. The film, which will follow the struggles of the main character - Matty - was due for release in 2025, but this was, regretfully, delayed.  During the course of pre-production, we ran into some set backs, including how the story would pan out, the actions that it entailed and how this would be directed. We have been working hard during this time to ensure that the script for the film is in a careful manner, to which all our actors are most comfortable with.

Considering this, the script is now at a level that we believe is suitable for storytelling. We now aim to bring this film into production later this year, with a date yet to be confirmed. We will provide an update on the release date closer to the time. We have also contacted The Samaritans regarding the film, who are incredibly supportive of the film and have allowed us to promote their helplines and contact details within the film, for which we are incredibly grateful for.

As the project and casting progresses, we will showcase Flatline as soon as practically possible, as we cannot wait to transform this small script into a big impacting production.
